Bad Economy Resulting in More Gambling Addicts
We all know the strain of the current economy. Everyone is struggling and many are trying their best to earn more money to help their economic situation. One problem that has surfaced from the struggling economy is gambling problems. Many people are visiting casinos to try and make money quick and they end up losing more than they bargained for and then a gambling addiction as well.

The state of New Jersey just added their 1000th name to a list of gamblers that ask to be banned from Atlantic City casinos. They have such a severe gambling problem they have had to add their name to the list.

Other parts of the country are seeing the same trend with calls to help lines increasing rapidly. More people than ever are in danger of losing their homes. Calls to national gambling help lines were increased by 12,000 in just one year.

We will probably see an even bigger increase this year as people are more desperate to earn money and they see the casino as a quick fix. Hopefully the economy will straighten out soon and people will be able to visit the casino for fun and not feel as though they have to gamble to better their lives.
