Poland Casino Executives Want Online Casinos to be regulated
Zibigniew Macioszek is a board member of Casinos Poland. Macioszek has stated that online casinos should base themselves in Poland and operate from there. Macioszek believes Poland can compete with other countries if the right regulations are put in place.

Casinos Poland is the largest land operator in the country with seven casinos and six slot parlors. Maciosek states that countries like Malta, which houses internet gaming sites, have strict rules. If Poland were to create the right regulations, more companies would benefit by relocating to Poland.

However, Maciosek believes that Poland’s policies should be reworked. According to Maciosek Polish law “was created almost twenty years ago from scratch with a lot of regulations copied from other countries. Thus, a number of regulations are obsolete and inapplicable in the current context. In Poland, we fall under Government’s customs department, which does not have much time to focus on the branch and does not understand it.”

Maciosek has also stated that gambling is enjoyed universal whether it is online or at a land casino. And the two should work together to create a stable environment for players to enjoy gambling at both venues.
