The Daily Star reported today that a Premier League Football Star lost £1million while gambling at a local casino. The loss took place in one night’s time. The star and the casinos name have been withheld due to legal action being taken by the gambling club but it has been confirmed that the player sobbed profusely after losing the large amount of money.

The player, mentioned as a household name in the Daily Star, had been drinking vodka and £200 bottles of champagne before he began his gambling binge. The player is also a frequent gambler at various casinos and has been known to lose 50,000 in one night.

After the losses continued to pile up the player was quoted as saying: “What have I done? My mum can’t know about this.”

The player started out on a good streak winning but then he started to lose and he continued to play hoping to regain his money, but instead he continued on a downward spiral. The player’s family supposedly knows about his love of gambling. Maybe it’s about time they stepped in and helped him with his problem.
