UK Gambling Commission gives Bodog a gambling license
It was recently announced that the UK Gambling Commission has granted a gambling license to top online gambling provider Bodog. Bodog will now be able to supply their services to the millions of gamblers located in the UK.

Bodog will be created a UK specific site and offering all of their standard services to those located in the UK. Patrik Selin is the CEO of Bodog and he commented that the new UK site will be ready to go in about three months. The company will be hiring close to one hundred new employees to run and help service customers of the site.

Selin commented: "Holding a license granted by the world's most robust and respected regulatory regime is a huge spring board from which Bodog UK can launch from. The credibility and trust that the UK already enjoys in the online gaming industry is immeasurable.”To be able to launch Bodog UK with these licenses in place is a huge bonus for us and not only will it benefit our customers but will also allow
us to attract the best talent in the industry to work with us

When the site goes live, players in the UK will be able to enjoy several casino games as well as sports betting options. Players will not be able to enjoy poker when the site goes live but they will be able to play the game soon after. Bodog must acquire more licenses to be able to provide online poker services.

Bodog has three different groups that operate under different licenses. The company is planning on moving their Antigua license to the UK and in the process all Non UK residents will be blocked from using the site.
